DJ Dance Party

First Pop Up Party of 2019!

Twas day 4 of the new year, and we prepped to be doused…

In breakbeats, drum and bass, and a sampling of house.

Pk turned up and the hands in the air,

the dance floor was packed, and the speakers were blared!

Bohemian boogying far from their beds,

While visions of shaking bums and rockin’ their heads;

Scott Love’s starry eyed, foots starts to tap,
Is it almost ten, Thug Shells gonna rap!

Poppa squats prepped the eve and made the bass splatter,
Booties be wigglin’ between smiles and chatter.

Team Kadeem snapping’ money shots with his flash,
While lyrically pour out of Thuggy’s rhyme stash.

Meltin’ some hearts and the fresh fallen snow,
K-Stylez breakbeats heating up the show.

Bona Petit next, so we hither on near,
With C3PO’s rap music so dear.

Versatile genres,  transitions so slick,
Everyone within earshot was ready to wick…

Eta-wicketa, no one song the same,

Talent on decks, serving’ fresh, claim to fame!

Now dashing’ to dance, Kuusic was mixing’

The goodness of house any problems he’s fixing!

Just when we thought we’d seen it all,
A limbo competition had begun to brawl.

Valiant contesters gave their best try,

But Thug Shells took the championship smiling so sly.

The atmosphere lifted so high that it flew,
Cheshire always provides an elevated crew.

The drinks they were poured and we raised roof
The hours ticked by and to tell you the truth…

We didn’t want home, we just wanted more sound.

The venue was ours, CDJs spinning’ round.

Mahoney on stage , and he gave em the loot.
Shufflers came out and they scooted their boots;

Hundred percent bangers, no goods did he lack.

G-House so dank that you heard the beat smack.

Then his babe-aliscious other half who we adore very,

Hottest female DJ for sure in the prairies,

Slung them good breakbeats and the crowd did glow.
Naturally, they were born to kill this show.

The DJs raged above and the crowd raged beneath,
1:30 had hit, it was time to bequeath;

To the Gravy Train Bandit, passed on from Kelly,
Was the right to party, to shake it like jelly.

And oh did he shake it, not by himself,
But everyone shook, it was that priceless wealth;

A twinkle in his eye, and a shake to his head,
The army of friendship is community lead;

Front row Kadeem candle lit up a spark,
Shining from within to light up the dark,

Poppa Squats played us Pumpkin, to move all our toes,
Smile, reminisce, and forget all our woes.

A round from the bar, and we wet our whistles,
The vibes were explosive, a big love filled missile.

The first on a Friday, we brought to new heights.
Happy Pop Up to all, Come Smile With Us Every Night!

JUNGLE TAVERN KNOXVILLE’S TAKE OVER

Cheshire Productions brought those lovin’ DNB vibes last February, sparking a passion for all junglist lovers young and old. We took over the now non-existant Knoxville’s, and transformed it in “THE JUNGLE TAVERN” .

We facilitated the bangers, you brought your butts.

Together, we created magic.

Again, thank you Buck for the epic videotography skills. We are lucky as s’hell to have you.

ED SOLO fired up the bassbins and hit us hard with a dose of raggamuffin junglist energy. From Brighton with love,  his unique brand of ruffneck bassline bravado for more than a decade has captivated audiences alike, and left them in a trance of dance. He served them hot cakes fresh, and we loved it.

PHIBES , the Bass-driven brothers Ryan and Scott, mixed us up a cocktail of drum and bass, glitch hop, twerk, swing, breaks, reggae and hip hop! They lit the fuse of the ultimate party phibe, the best party vibe! Phibes has been blowing up the UK Scene for a few years now, and we were honored to have them visit us for our descent into the sexy jungle.

ILLVIS FRESHLY are a group of sexy beasts. They brought the liveliness of hip hop, instrumentation, and electronic music to our bonanza. Thanks for the dopeness straight to our ear drums, and the unbelievable effervescent energy that LIVE HIP HOP always adds!

TWOTIMER, the the newest addition to the PK Bass Music family. Twotimer (A.K.A. Trevor Galore) left his house music alter ego at home, and made our soundsystem ROAR with his DNB fire.

Pyper  our YEGDNB resident has received tremendous praise in his quick rise for his impeccable track selection, and flowed through our DNB subgenres to blend into the evening seamlessly.

Philips Brewery supplied our brewskis and took the taps over with their two signature beers, Blue Buck and Electric Unicorn. Ooo, how magestically rare, and that PK SOUND sure made it rumble.

Does this sound like the components of the perfect night of dancing?

We think so… but you can make your own opinions.

Keep posted for more Junglist take-overs courtesy of your Cheshire family.
